The project is situated in a rural area of the Efpalio village in Fokida region and it is about a country family house with a swimming pool for the summer and winter as well. The house consists of a basement about 100 square meters that has a parking area, enough to accomodate several cars and a ground floor of approximately 85 square meters. There are two bedrooms with one big bathroom which has extra space for storage and washing machines, one small bathroom in the entrance with the staircase, a big kitchen area integrated with the living room and finally a big porch that has an innovative pergola design.

These spaces are under a wooden roof closed with plasterboard that has an extra space for storage and air conditioning systems.

The fundamental architectural design idea was to create an elaborated entrance to the residence through an exterior corridor that leads to a small roof covered open space. This space is basically a cut of the buildings volume which then is taken and attached as a chimney at the exterior of the fireplace. The proportions of this volume missing from the front and placed to the rear are exactly the same. This geometrical design move adds a distinctive aesthetic and concept to the reading of the house.

The rest of the composition has to do with the two different colors used such as the dark gray and the ash love white.

Innovative design solutions are also found in the roof and to the windows and exterior spaces where the tiles are placed.

Eco friendly materials and technology installations are used for the better energy efficiency of the building and its relation to the context.
