The client requested a five meter long, big longitudinal table for the exterior space of the cafeteria. As a result, a design concept was developed, which was also applied to the stools alongside the table.

It is a set of design parameters and ideas described as follows:

The color degrades from one side to the other, starting with the darkest color and ending with the natural white color of the wood chosen. There are three colors used besides the natural swedish wood: blue, turquoise and green.

The metallic grid consists of 39 cm squares which hold the diagonally placed wooden planks that compose the table.

The planks are placed in such a way so that they do not compose pure geometric shapes, such as the rhombus, giving the design a more organic feel complimented by the right selection and placing of the colors.
