This project is based on an existing ruined building made with the construction methods characteristic of the traditional cycladic architecture. The main goal for this architectural study was to deliver two different options to the client, the first one presenting a snack bar and the other one a residence for one person. These two solutions maintain the current masonry and have the same openings, such as a rear entrance, two large windows facing the road and two large doors facing the yard and the rest of the plot. As a result, we always follow the same architectural approach in order to make sure that the use of this building can change in the future with limited intervations.
